We installed a 48 panel solar PV system on the state of the art Audi Bolton showroom.

 

Jardine Motors Group operate the new Audi centre, which features a 9,000sq ft showroom and a 21-bay workshop for servicing as well as space for more than 100 new and used cars. The dealership is next to ‘Trinity Quarter’ a key development area in Bolton Council’s £1bn masterplan.

Equipment used – includes 48 JA Solar 275Wp solar panels, a Solis 12kW inverter and Renusol mounting system.

The challenge – was to install this system using a penetrative mounting system with ballast. This required careful calculation of the loadings to ensure that the system is sufficiently ballasted to withstand wind uplift.
