How is my home assessed for an EV charger install?

Q. How is my home assessed for an EV charger install?

A. We'll carry out an initial survey to assess the type of install your property might need. All we need is access to your home and our team will gather all the necessary information.

 

The role of the survey is to ensure we’ve got all the information we need about your property and whether you’re likely to need any additional equipment or pre-approvals for any installation work that needs doing. Our goal is to make sure your installation goes as smoothly as possible so you’re up and running with your EV charger as quickly as possible.

 

This quick 30-40 minute visit will allow one of our experts to inspect your home electrics, plan new cabling routes and ask where you would like the charger installed. We'll also check your eligibility for government grants which could lower the cost even further.

 

We’ll be in touch after the survey with next steps and any other information you need to know, including if there are any additional costs you need to be aware of. We’ll then take care of everything else, the whole process from survey to being ready to install should take around 2 to 3 weeks.
