Overview

The current electric vehicle homecharge scheme (EVHS) administered by the Office for Zero Emissions Vehicles (OZEV) ends on 31st March 2022.  Therefore from today , 31st January 2022, we will no longer be including the deduction of £350 on our customer’s quotes.

Changes to the EVHS

What do the changes mean mean?

Therefore from today , 31st January 2022, we will no longer be including the deduction of £350 on our customer’s quotes.  Naturally, we will do our best to complete your installation as soon as we can – and if your installation is before the end of March we will deduct the grant from your bill as normal.  However due to increases in demand, we already have a large number of customers with open applications who we need to prioritise and therefore it is unlikely that your installation date will be before the end of March.

Please note that Plug Me In will not be liable for any missed EVHS deductions in the event that your appointment is delayed or cancelled, regardless of when your original application was started.

Post 1st April 2022, you may still qualify for the grant if you are a homeowner who lives in a flat/apartment or if you live in rental accommodation (flats and single-use properties).  Further details from OZEV will be issued in due course.
